Hi, I have got a new Samsung phone, and when I launch OBD11, it does not see the dongle as online, even though it is pulsing white. Tried re-plugging the dongle several times. Removed the device from the app. Reinstalled the App. It just refuses to see the dongle as online (the BT icon is grey, not blue), phone BT sees it online about 50% of the time.
Sometimes I manage to connect to it if I try pairing using 1234 code and then quickly connecting with the app, or maybe that's just a coincidence. However it quickly looses the connection again. Tried on 2 different cars. In the old phone with Android 12 it worked like a charm.

Just seen this on facebook
OBDeleven had the latest update on the 6th of december. More than a month ago. Several Android phones have since then had a security update. I now have a Pixel 7 and a wide spread problem following the latest security update has been Bluetooth connection problems. Its not all phones that sees the problem. Same with Samsung. They apparently also have seen their share of Bluetooth problems. I gave up on my S21. How does the phone connect to the dongle? Yes correct Bluetooth. If the phone has Bluetooth problems you can't connect. Read a little here and see if your problem could be here. www.airdroid.com/remote-control/fix-bluetooth-not-working-android-problem/
Not saying this is the issue but a lot of guys are complaining about connection issues.

I have the same problem. After using my OBD11 last time in April 21, I tried it 2 weeks ago and couldn't connect to the device after the OBD11 made an update. Tried with three different Samsung phones (Samsung Tablet T585, Samsung S9+, Samsung S21FE), and a Trekstor Surftab Theatre S11. OBD11 switches from red to white and at first it comes "Turn the ignition on" (is of course on) and if I try it a second time "device is unreachable". I tried it on a second car, with the same result.
Edit: Today, 14.03.2023, was an update offered for the app. I did this and tried it again to connect to the car. The first time it was nor successful, the same like the last times. Than I deleted cache and stored files, with the result that an update for the adapter was offered, which was with the second try successful and the adapter connected to the car.
There was no hint of the support that the update is available. Support is really bad.
