I am trying to adjust the temperature of the heated steering wheel on my 2010 Audi A6. My understanding is that this can be done in the adaptations on the steering column control unit. However, I do not get an adaptations option in the steering column control unit for some reason.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get adaptations for the steering column? I get adaptations for all the other control units just not the steering column.
I get Info, subsystems, live data, coding, basic settings, output test, security access, change service, charts, history, backup, and eeprom... just no adaptations or long coding.

another user, whataboutthis, previously advised:-
When you go to the control unit you want to make changes to go to Info and see what Protocol you have
If its KWP2000 or Similar then I expect you dont have long coding but you have
Adaptation Coding - This is the Equiv of Long coding on the older control units.
