Hi! I'm new to OBDEleven, having received the Ultimate bundle as a surprise christmas gift.

I've used several of the apps on my 2016 VW Passat GTE, all successfully except for one: Folding Mirrors on Ignition.
By default the mirrors will fold down into operational position upon unlocking the car by remote. I used the app to change this to 'Ignition On'. Despite the app indicating it's made its change successfully, the behavior of the mirrors upon car unlock by remote does not change.
I've re-applied the change multiple times, unsuccessfully.

Edit: Seems the 'Gauge Test - Needle Sweep' also does not apply like it should.

You shouldn't use these one-click apps. Because u never see what's happening.

For Gauge/Needle swapping try:
STG 17 (Schalttafel Einsatz)
Coding / Long Coding
Activate in Byte 1 Bit 0

Folding mirrors has only two variants:
1. Folding if close / open the car
2. Folding if close and hold key long and I think if u turn on ignition after open the car, mirrors will go with ignition
STG 09 Zentralelektrik

Anpassung / Adaption
Spiegelverstellung (vorher Zugangskontrolle 2)
-by convenience Operation via remote control key (langes Drücken der Absperrtaste auf der FB)
Or
-by lock command via remote control key (kurzes Drücken der Absperrtaste) -> this is the standard I think

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT
