It looks to be a general error not being able to communicate with Obdeleven .and I feel like I've been grounded by buying this "toy" because I haven't been able to make this thing work. until now impossible to communicate with the module regardless of on my phone or on tab both Samsung. Module recognized but no more 2 weeks of trials. Maybe someone here can give a tip. Obdeleven pro,Samsung tab A7 lite,samsung s8

No extra app required, are you using the white or black dongle.

Thanks for the reply. I use the black one. tried for 2 weeks without managing to pair my Tab A7 Lite nor on my phone Samsung S8

If you are using the Next Gen device you do not need to pair the dongle with you device.
You must be running Android 6 and above and if often people have to disconnect from the car via BT to make it work.
You also need to have location turned on (but fairly sure it warns you to do that)
Lastly go to main menu, select device and remove what is there and start again.
