Is it possible to add the interior ambient lights to the other lights that come on when you unlock the car. And then stay on when you lock with coming home?
As opposed to only coming on when you open the door?
Thanks
Mike

I did it with footwell lights, but I don't know if it is possible to activate it with ambilight.

So i think u can do it by creating your own Lightfunction. ->STG09 (Zentralelektrik) ->Login ->Adaption / Anpassung --> Leuchte30FR LC72 ---> Take some Lightfunction / Lichtfunktion which is not active for example C30 ----> Change from "nicht aktiv" / "not active" to "Ambientelicht X" ----> Lichtfunktion / Lightfunktion D30 ----> Change from "nicht aktiv" / "not active" to "Coming Home / Leaving Home active" -----> Dimmwert CD30 to "100 / 127" -----> Dimming Direction from "minimize" to "maximize" Ambientelicht has some Numbers behind; i dont know which from them are the right ones, u need to test it. I think this could work, but i dont know. I dont have Ambientlights, so i cant test it. For Questions u can Message me and if it works, write it down here. Attachments:558185400 (220.54 KB)

I think u need to test all 4 options. In some other forum i read that ambientlight 2 is for cupholder, so i would say ambient 1 is for all other, but i dont know. I dont think u can damage something.

Thanks. I’ll have a look but I suspect the coloured strips live outside of the ambient lighting options.
They seem to be linked to the driving profiles specifically Profile_0 which isn’t active on my car.

Ambientlight 3 and 4 should be connected to the driver profile switch. So I'm curious what u find.

Ok. I’ll try to find some time to test over the weekend.
Thank you

After some more reading it is possible, that u need to change Lightfunction C to "Coming/Leaving Home Active" and D to "Ambientlight X" and not like i wrote above. There is some Function called "innenlicht" that could be an other name for ambientlight / could be ambientlight, u should try this instead of "Ambientlight X" if isn't working.

So I tried Ambientlight 3 and 4 but no obvious changes. Will try innerlight another day.

Ok, update. Tried Innerlicht and no joy. I'm fairly sure the LED strip control lives with the profiles and you need Profile_0 activated. Even though I have set a colour on mine, it doesn't work. So there must be a setting somewhere to make that "ignition off" profile come alive. I reckon it'll be via Odis or VCP

Just an update, I discovered the doors were set to 0% with ignition off from the factory (in int light 2nd generation)
Turned that up And they now come on when unlocking with the key
Well happy.
