Hi everyone,
I did my first attempt at long coding, and it didn't turn out so great. The trouble started when I mistakenly coded "lwr_activation" from "enabled" to "not_enabled" (4B Multifunction Module). The car then threw two errors: Audi Adaptive Headlight error, and High-Beam Assistant error. I immediately reversed "lwr_activation" back to "enabled", but the errors will not clear. I've cleared faults, but the problem just reappears after about 30 seconds. I've checked the history log and all of the other settings are back to their original values, but the errors persist. Is there some secret to getting these functions reenabled?
The status of the 4B Multifunction Module are as follows: 4 Faults -
1) Matrix high beam left - no basic setting. Fault code C117554. Status: static. Priority: 2. Malfunction frequency counter: 1. Unlearning counter: 40. 2) Matrix high beam right - no basic setting. Fault code C117654. Status: static. Priority: 2. Malfunction frequency counter: 1. Unlearning counter: 40. 3) Headlight - no basic setting. Fault code C107E54. Status: static. Priority: 2. Malfunction frequency counter: 1. Unlearning counter: 40. 4) Release active. Fault code: B184C00. Status: static. Priority: 3. Malfunction frequency counter: 1. Unlearning counter: 255.
Cheers and thanks in advance. Brad

I think you should do basic settings, if it does not work, you must bring your car to the dealer and make it fixed. Playing with high beam settings often fries them and a simple recode with obd isn't enough

Thanks; I was actually able to fix the error by going through the basic settings and then restarting the multimedia module. All good now!

For me, in multifunction module, 4B, I had to
In basic settings, Execute "Basic headlamp setting" Execute "Acknowledge basic setting" This took care of the "Headlight - no basic setting" fault. The matrix errors persisted. For that, in the same settings, run "Calibration of matric lights, driving axis angle"
"Release Active" just means that SFD is unlocked. Lock SFD, then clear faults.
Disclaimer, I don't really know what I am doing, but this worked for me.
