Hello, I was tinkering with the VCDS lately, I found an option in the engine adaptation called "Maximal static speed limitation" or something like that, it was 250 Km/h by default and I changed it to 60 Km/h to see if it works, and it did, now I'm stuck with that speed, I simply cannot change it back or increase it, I believe I need the access code so I can make this modification but I don't know how, I tried 27971 with no luck.
I took my car to VW official car dealer in my country and they DO NOT REPAIR/TOUCH ANYTHING RELATED TO ECUs the only thing that they tried is an "Online flashing" which in theory should erase and replace all the EEPROM (btw they don't know what EEPROM is) program but with no luck, I believe at 100% that they didn't do anything, charged me for "repairing" and put my car in "Transport mode" which I didn't knew what is was neither them, I discovered later that my radio, keys... doesn't work anymore due to this mode. Great...
This mode can be removed easily by driving the car for around 100Km, but since I removed the ABS fuse to make the car think that I'm not speeding up (0km/h), the distance counter doesn't increment so this mode will stay on. I only knew about this trick by accident when I was lazy to remove the fuse again.
Anyway, what should I do to get this PIN or since I'm a mechatronic engineer I can use an Arduino, stm32 or other microcontrollers/tools to make the necessary wiring/programming to read and write directly to the ECU if there is some kind of manual or tutorial. My ECU is SIMOS 11.1
Thank you.
