beshop : Hi. From your words, I understand that you had SATNAV display on the AID previous to the MIB 2.5 installation. And I also assume that SATNAV is working OK on the MIB screen - which means that the necessary licenses for the map data (i.e. FEC's) are loaded into the new MIB. Finally, I assume that post installation there are NO errors listed on your scan report - this is an important consideration If my understanding and if my assumptions above are correct and also assuming that NO changes were made to the existing coding on the AID (i.e. the module that OBD11 calls "Dashboard" that lives @ address hex17), then it's reasonable to conclude that the settings on the new MIB (i.e. the module @ address hex5F) might not be coded for the SATNAV to be displayed on the AID.
So - maybe start your investigations by checking the settings on the following adaptation channels in the hex5F module (I pulled these settings from a Passat B8 MY15 that had a similar upgrade to MIB2.5):
Dashboard_Display_Configuration- ability_switch_nav_maps > OFF
- call_picture > On
- coverart > On
- crossroad_detail_map_compression_mode > H264
- crossroad_detail_map_resolution > resolution_1
- crossroad_detail_map_transmission_mode > MOST_streaming
- dynamic_icon > 0
- fastlist_most > On
- navigation_map_compression_mode > H264
- navigation_map_resolution > resolution_1
- navigation_map_transmission_mode > MOST_streaming
- stationart > On
