Hi All,
Just get power folding mirrors retrofitted. However, could not manage to get the led lit under the mirror body? Any help would be appreciated. Is it in the central electrics?

Please check "front field light" in both door control units (42 / 52 )

sw number is 5Q0959593K. They do not match. Would it cause a problem? Other than the puddle light, all work OK including folding mirror dip and etc. I drive a 22 golf 1.0 impression. thanks again

HW F and SW K are fine, they are also used from factory for the foldable mirrors.
I have searched through the BCM and RVC and did not find anything regarding the Puddle Lights / Umfeldbeleuchtung. So I have no other idea to try, sorry
From factory they are coded to unfold the mirrors first, then turn on the lights. Also I found out (from trying to get the door warnings running) that you might need to code, close, wait (bus sleep) and then try again.
