17 Dashboard > Long Coding > Vehicle Variant > derivative : derivative_27 This is what I have with "Audi Sport" logo and max 300. I am wondering how would I get RS logo? I have tried all 64 versions but no luck. Any idea?

Has anyone had any success with changing the cockpit design variants?
As far as I am aware the variants can not be changed or added after a certain amount of miles. Is this correct?

With variant 27 i have the RS logo and all the gauges…torque power turbo etc I prefer the Audi sport/S3 logo…did you know what variant is? |

With derivative_30 I've got the Audi Sport logo. Changing the derivative to that also enables a menu option which I don't know the purpose for. It's located under the virtual cockpit plus settings for S-Performance and it is the toggle switch for "Automatic RS layout activation". Doesn anybody know when this layout gets activated?

Thanks for the info! Now I also have the Audi Sport logo instead of the RS with code 27. Due to the RS layout. Unfortunately, this does not work with normal or S models. The RS models have an RS button on the steering wheel. As soon as this is pressed, also changes the layout in the cockpit. This can be controlled with the button. |

This is related with the car version. On the newer ones it shows RS, on the older ones it shows "Audi Sports".
3454 > Audi Sports
3801 > RS

Has anyone managed to find the large Central rev counter (like the 2020 S3 sport layout) by changing derivatives ?
I've tried 22,24,25,26,27 and 28 but can't see any change I've enabled the g meter, torque displays too but no luck, 30 is not accepted.
My default was derivative 23, SW3801, S3 8Y

Unfortunately, it seems impossible to customize the dashboard displays beyond the preset options from the factory. While I can't recall the specific module or option that governs this, it's known that certain codings related to dashboard displays are not editable. This means you're essentially limited to the Virtual Cockpit layouts initially provided with your car, and any attempts to modify them are not accepted.
If there happens to be a workaround for this limitation, I'm interested! Please feel free to share any insights or solutions you might have.

I tired to do it earlier and it will just give me a red circle with a line and coding not accepted

Yes that is because you cannot code it anymore once the car has left the factory or has done an x amount of miles. Read it somewhere else regarding another car. So that is unfortunate. Otherwise we could have activated the RS virtual cockpit layouts.
