Hi there, This is my first post here…
I have a 2020 SQ7 and I’ve been trying to enable VIM via app, so far unsuccessfully. In fact, when I connect obd11 to the car it tells me that the app for MIB2+ systems is not compatible with my car, and thus unavailable to me. While, the app for MIB3 systems is available, but when I try it fails all the times. The software version of my car is this: MH2p_US._AUG35_P2711. I’m not knowledgeable in this field but from researching it seems to me that my car is not MIB3 but, Mib2+. Did anyone have any experience like mine and what is it that you’ve find out? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

This procedure was working in my SQ7 2020:
Make sure the hood of the car is opened. Turn on the car, but not the engine
Connect to OBDEleven
Under the Control Units > Module: (5F) Multimedia. select the "Change Service" and select "VW diagnostic mode".
Then select Adaption and change the follow below: nhtsa_properties I switched everything that was "activate" to "Not activated"
Locked menu contents I switched everything that was "activate" to "Not activated"
Once completed, hold down the Volume button (not the one on the steering wheel) until the MMI restarts. Now you can enjoy VIM,
