Hello everybody,
A month ago, I had some issue with my original Rain and Light sensor (car is equiped from factory).
In fact auto wiper were not working correctly and same for auto light.
I fact, the glass completely crack over one of the two sensor.
I check Part Number: 5Q0955559A
Lucky, I found a brand new sensor (VW original) on eBay for 50 euros.
The manufactured date is the same as my car, September. So the part number is matching my car's production date.
Well received, I install it on the bracket and finish. Auto light were working great but auto wiper no, or I should say: randomly.
When wiper are off, no problem.
When I swith to the first step (auto mode), wipers perform on cycle and stop.
Water is building up and wipers were doing 1, 2,3, 4 etc...cycles even the glass is free of water.
My windshield is clear, no impact on the area of the sensor.
I took care of cleaning the sensor area and no buble of something else over the sensor.
I don't know what to do, until maybe buy a new sensor (maybye the model I received is a defective one) or there is something to do with adaptation (I have OBDELVEN Pro).
My car is a 6C from 2014 September with following PR codes:
1AZ: Electronic stability control (ESC)
QI6: Service indicator 30 000 km or 2 years ( variable )
3FB: Spoiler roof
7MM: Emission standard EU6 plus
C9B: Alloy wheels 7J x 16
HW1: Tires 215/45 R16 86H
4KF: Side windows in heat-insulating glass, from B-pillar and rear window dark tinted
3NC: Rear seat bench/backrest, split folding
2ZH: Leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel
Q4H: Sports comfort seats in front
JOS: Code non trouvé
8K3: Separate daytime running lights with automatic headlamp activation and Coming Home feature
8M1: Rear window wiper and washer system with intermittent control
8ID: Halogen twin headlamps
U0C: Instrument cluster with tachometer, clock and km/h speedometer
8RL: 6 speakers (passive)
8TC: Rear fog lamp for driving on the right
8WH: Front fog lamp and cornering lamp
I7Y: MIB Entry Plus (Gen2)
Thanks for your help.
