Hi all, I'm also interested how to code this old feature available by default on Skoda A7 which was removed from NX version. It's so frustrating that mirrors are unfold on each unlock. I'm offer as a Beta tester to check some coding if someone has some ideas! Thx

The unfold as soon as the car is unlocked and they fold when locked. This is the standard behavior since ages. This logic is deeply implemented into the door controllers. In the MK7 some people even went that far to retrofit old door controllers.

Hi newty, Thank you for your reply. From what I've found so far this "function" it seems to be different on old platforms, and even so it can be coded: forum.obdeleven.com/post/19005/threadPS: I actually managed to code this behaviour on old Skoda MK3 some time ago.

Yep. Still, these are MQBs. My first MQB - Octavia 3 (one of the very first O3, Mid 2013) had that igntiton-based logic from factory My next one, a Golf 7 "almost facelift" (Early 2017, still old-style MQB) already had the unlock-based mirrors. Changing that coding went to strange, unreliable results.
New plattform with my Golf 8 Spring 2021 which is MQBw and has different door control units, so maybe you can b put it to test, but as said before, that mechanic has gone long ago. Also, recent B8 do not have these adaptions anymore.

Spiegelverstellung: cp_Komfortbedienung_Spiegel_anklappen: -> active Spiegelanklappen_bei_Verriegelung: -> not active
is the solution. You need to push long at close / hold long at kessy
