My OBD device is about 6 months old and to date I have had no problems with it. Today I tried to do a full scan and a full back up on my A3 8Y and it failed miserably.
I have done both of these task before and they were successful.
When I did the scan it reported that there were 9 faults - when I click on each module highlighted with a fault, the app return "Unknown error", I tried to clear these faults via the app but the faults remained. Not sure what is happening here?
Secondly when I tried to do a full back up (there are 29 control units in my A3) it took at least 15 minutes to run through the first 3 units, so I left it running on its own (ignition on - engine not started- Battery charger connected) and when I returned the OBD app screen had gone back to the initial start screen for the back option? I reviewed the log and a back up file had been created, but upon inspection it had only recorded 12 of the control units and nothing else. I tried again and similar results (Very slow going through the modules and incomplete data captured).
The car runs and performs perfectly, so I do not suspect any fault with the vehicle.
Software version on the app is 0.60.0(10627).
Has anyone else experienced these problems?

I have exactly the same problem, it takes a good 40minutes to get 70% through backup and then returns to the Home Screen. It also reports about 30 + problems with the car which are not registered at Audi dealership?? My obd device is brand new

Personally if you are using Android then firstly do a data cache clear, secondly if that dont work then Remove and reinstall the app.
If that dont work then I would contact support directly via the in app help function as this sounds like another bug.
If it has worked in the past and not now did this issue start after the last release, again pass this info on to support.

Samsung Problem here on a RS3. Unknown Errors but with Codes which are unknown and not detected with other diagnostics. Same Error on iOS and Android.
It would be nice to see on which scan sequence the error was seen. Like VCDS.

FYI:
According to support, this is a known issue. These are irrelevant internal error codes on the control units. Will be fixed with the next updates.

I'm experiencing this same as @ jj996 : very long backup time and failure partway. Just got the ODBeleven yesterday. So far it has just been sitting in the car, waiting for the scan and backup, failing backups. I got one of the 4 types of backup to complete. It seems like the app just exits randomly.
iPad OS 16.x, Just installed the OBDeleven software yesterday and whatever new firmware that was forced upon it at that time. VW ID4, USA. (45 Control Units.)

Hi, is the problem solved now? I'm still getting errors that aren't errors or are displayed as Unknown. Sometimes even as static.
