Hello,
Can somebody help me with retrofitting a discover media in my prefacelift golf 7. I do have a new mib2 aswell. The problem i am experiencing is: i installed everything. But do not get any sound from radio or bluetooth or something else. When i install the new screen with the old mib2 everything works fine. But the layout i get on the screen is old and not what i want. Please somebody help me.

Did the unit come from another car with dyaudio? Do you have dyaudio? Did you copy your long coding and adaptions to the new unit?

Hello, thanks for answering. I am not 100% sure if it is cp is removed. I do think it is. But I do get the faultcodes of cp.

I do have dynaudio.

I do not know if the donor car has dynaudio.

I did not copy the hexvalues from my old unit to the new unit.

Please help me i am stoked to have it working.

Ok well first backup the 5f module of the old unit and email it to yourself
Then scan the new unit and see if it has any Cp errors (if it does you’ll with have to hack it or take it to Vw)
If no CP then copy your old parameters into the new unit

No sound could be because you audio goes a different route than the stock speakers
