Hello All,

After endless frustration and time spent pouring thru old posts on how to see more than 4 items (Engine, ABS, Airbags, and Headlight... all other show black circle) when using my OBDeleven Pro on my 08' A4 3.2... if you would indulge me, I want to try a new approach...

Please note.. my dongle (Pro) & phone (iOS) combination has proven to work on 5 other Audi/VW cars with full success... issue is only on the B7 A4. In other words, I have no reason to believe the problem is related to how I using my OBDeleven.

Question to B7 A4 owners using OBDeleven:

1. How many modules can you see as green when scanning your car?

2. Did your level of module visibility happen "out-of-the-box" or did you initially struggle?

3. If it was a struggle, what steps did you take to solve your visibility issue?

if you are reading this post and are a B7 owners, I would kindly implore you to post your answers to the above 3 questions... I think it will greatly help struggling B7 A4 owners around the world.

For the last several years I have been unable to connect to more then 4 control modules on my car. I recently discovered that an aftermarket quad lock wiring harness to add a factory Bluetooth module was the problem, as soon as I unplugged the microphone I was able to communicate with every module I was expecting to have. Best guess is the microphone was causing an issue with the L-wire that the modules use for communication. Hopefully this helps.

A full scan goes through all 25. Worked out the box like that. I dont have pro or ultimate, just basic one.

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT

whataboutthis: zuhair3434 just to confirm you are using the VAG app for your VW and the non VAG app for your BMW, in which case if you are using the non VAG app it should work and show you the OCA. Dec 1, 2024 15:27:09 GMT
