Hi All I have a 2021 build Kamiq without the Air Care filter function. In Australia at least, Air Care was introduced half way through 2021 with the MY2022 update. They started marking the units with "Air Care" - see below.  From what I understand I just need a new cabin filter and to activate it in the climate control module. Could someone with Air Care post their long coding and adaptation for the Air Conditioning/08 please? If you're interested in enabling the Air Care the part numbers for filters are: Normal - 2Q0819644 Coal - 2Q0819653 Anti-allergenic - 2Q0819669 |

Any luck only with changing the filter, as when I use OBD11 I miss the options I have on godfather's Super Be, who has aircare clima from the factory?

I have a MY21.5 kamiq which also didnt get aircare. Just curious though, I thought the aircare is just a sensor that detects pollution outside and if its too high then it automatically switches to circulation?

Any new about this? I've asked local dealer and he told me you can change the filter, but he thinks that some electronic is missing in non aircare device such as mine.

hello everybody! I am looking for air car activation long time. I have found a solution, and seems that it works. I am not sure thought that works 100% correct since i haven't test aircare on a kamiq that has it from factory. My kamiq is MY2021 DSG TDI with air-condition without aircare. Unit info: Hardware Number: 654907044D, Software number: 654907044D, Software Version: 0803, Long Coding: 11010000800010001100801524401051040000000000000000000000000 Go on: Unit 08 Air Conditioning Long Coding -> Filtrering of interior compartment air from ''not installed'' change to ''installed'' After that turn off ignition and reset media player by pressing power button for 10-15secs. Then start engine and check your climate, air care should appear, you have to turn it on and once the air is cleaned will inform you. It takes 2-5 mins while a green line on bottom loading... to clean the air in the cabin of the car. |

Did you exchange the filter, or are you still using the old (original one) one? My Kamiq also doesn't have options to enable aircare by default as friends Superb, so I'm wondering if there is really needed electronic inside our aircon or change of settings is just to trick the system into thinking it's present?
Could someone who possesses a newer Kamiq with aircare aircon tell us whether there is a memory state options (adaptations -> filtering .....)?

On ETKA there are 3 filters(for MY2019-2023) as aaaplay describe above and my car had already Anti-allergenic - 2Q0819669 which is supposed to be the best between these 3 filters.Also on ETKA there is only one part number for air condition and there isn't external pollution sensor(MY 2019-2023).
Although I have change to an aftermarket filter which is better on my opinion.
So my conclusion is that the hardware part is the same , maybe there is change on software version.
The only way to check as you already said, is somebody with air care from factory share info-long coding-adaptations of 08 Air-conditioning unit.

My hardware number ends with „C“ and Software 0703. So i think that’s the reason if equal with Scala. With your coding and change filter, i already tried 1 year ago. Without success. BTW your long coding digits are very different to mine. So could you please share Screenshots from the named Long Coding?

Thanks. I have heated windshield, so 2 different codings. But the coding „CO2 Compressor On-Time Reduction“ is set on Reserved in my car. Yours is activated. I’ve never touched this, so the setting must be stock. Is this setting maybe just the difference between your Diesel and my Petrol?
I will give it a try to change it. If nothing happens it is definitely the hardware. Or when i am lucky, the software.

I too have the Anti-Allogenic Filter from factory. Maybe they ran short during COVID or decided it’s easier or cheaper to make one filter. |

BTW i have MIB3 0278 running. Maybe you have already 0304 or 0306. when it’s like that, there must be changes in 5f and 19 too.

I've just enabled aircare on MY21 Kamiq (petrol engine with the DSG) with the proposed change, but I had, in addition, to enable also the following Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2-clima_slave_2_0x16 Set to Active in 5F (more on the link www.vwvortex.com/threads/vcds-mods-to-us-arteon.9322317/page-19#post-113914949) to get the option active. My climatronic is J255 654907044E hardware rev. H05 and software 0803. |

can u tell which is the proper filter to use with this mod for aircare to work Local dealer told me that almost all Kamiq's starting somewhere in 2021 came with antialegenic filter (as somebody else also mentiond above). |

I've investigated further, and it seems that aircare is remembered on my car, although the car doesn't have an item in the adaptation that is used to remember aircare option as we did it on a friend's SuperB. My MII shows that there are 3 zones (2 front and 1 back), although there are only 2 zones (2 front), however, when I press the button to change to the 3rd zone it does nothing.

I tried to add the 3rd Zone too to simulate it. But does not show in MMI. Maybe i did wrong.

I got the same options on the MMI as nikos1 on the screenshots he provided. I also have the same MMI model - bolero. Maybe you have a different one?

I did it. Bought a new Unit for peanuts with the Software 0803 and Hardware index „E“. Index „D“ like you have is without seat heat buttons. Copied the LongCoding 1:1 from the old unit.
Now i have problem with learning the new unit.
At basic settings it always says „not active“ and security access 20103 is not accepted. Tried with engine running and without.
Any suggestions?
