Hi Everyone,
I wonder if anyone managed to activate wireless carplay through coding and/or adaptations?
I have found a way like this:
Before doing these steps engine hood should be open.
5F - Multimedia
Adaptations -> Vehicle Configuration
Mirror Link -> On
WiFi Client HMI -> On
WLan 5ghz switch -> Activated
Apple DIO Wireless -> On
After these, restarting multimedia system and wireless carplay activates.
However, unfortionately I could not find Vehicle Configuration menu in my Audi A3 2022 model. There is a ready One-Click app for activating wireless carplay, so I am pretty sure it can be done in this model car. If anyone can do it I would be very glad to learn the way as app requires 100 credit which is quite expensive.

Hi, could you try "Function Configuration Connectivity" in Adaptation instead of "Vehicle Configuration", look there for Mirror link/WiFi Client HMI/Wlan 5ghz switch/Apple DIO Wireless. And let us know, share a screen shot please.

Hi, I have 2020 A3 sedan. Couldn't activate wireless carplay. I am adding screenshots of Function Configuration Connectivity page with current situation. I removed every connection from my MMI related to my phone. And in my phone, I removed the car from bt menu and carplay menu. When I reconnect using bluetooth, my phone asks me if I also want to use CarPlay. I accept it. My phone adds the car to both BT menu and to CarPlay menu under general settings. However car multimedia doesn't switch to CarPlay and keeps the connection as normal BT phone connection. I wasn't able to add all screenshots here (max limit is 3) so I uploaded them to imgur. imgur.com/a/cgVgXRQ |

As I wrote before, menus are different than this and I explained everything I made.
I found similar settings in different pages and It doesn't work.
Additionally, I turned on wifi car play in smartphone configuration page.
Still no luck.
