Volkswagen currently offers the 10-color as original equipment. There is also the 30-color option which includes foot lighting.
The GTI only offers 30-Color as original equipment.

But what is you actual question here? I'm sure you're not just asking what members have "30 color ambient lightning"?

Was asking has i only had 10 colors in my mk5 caddy but I've changed the coding and got the 30 colors to work now 🚦🌈

I made 30 colors in my own 2021 Caddy as a result of my efforts. Those who want to make 30 colors in their tool can change the first two lines in the picture in this way and try.  |

I have a golf 8 GTI. If you’re asking about that, footwell lighting is color changing and will match the color you set for that zone as golf 8 is multizone colored (more than one color can be selected for different parts of the interior) one cool thing it does, is when the door opens on either side, it changes the footwell color to white for that side for better visibility until the door is closed 🙂

Oh right, I have an 8 R and to be honest I never really looked at the footwell lighting without the door being open 😂 Maybe that is why I thought they were white only. I'll have a proper look when it gets dark haha

I didn't realize for months that this was not a visual representation of how the lighting is applied but a selection how the two colors are split up  |

Hey all,
I currently have a MK8 Variant Business Premium.
I did not want to pay 250 euro for the 30 colors ambient lighting.
Q: how can i active the 30 color mode instead of the 10 color mode?
What they did not tell me that the 30 color pack comes with foot lights so at my feet, its a dark erea now.
Q: Would it be possible that they have installed the foot lights but don't enable them?
Q: Would i be able to enable them using the app?
