Hi - I'm looking to start diving into long coding or whatever it's referred to on my 2020 q7.
One item that I'd really like to change is around the accessibility of the Homelink system. I often pull into my driveway and hit the power button and although the car is still powered up, with the engine off, the option to push the homelink button goes away (goes grey vs white). This required me to turn the engine back on just to get the garage opened.
Is there any coding options to make Homelink available when accessory mode is active? My Wife's 21 A6 does this same thing, so presume this is the case on many models.
Appreciate any thoughts or guidance on this. John

It is for security reasons, if someone breaks into your car they would be able to open the garage door and have access to your home possibly. Car makers changed this around 7 years ago to prevent access to your home without the ignition on.
