Afternoon all,

I installed a towbar and dedicated wiring to my Golf 8 estate yesterday. I've succefully coded all modules except the ACC. When I go to write the long coding change (control module for towing sensor) and select it as installed, I get a red banner at the bottom saying that something went wrong and to try again. The ACC module fault is saying that it's incorrectly coded. Presumably because it has 'seen'the new trailer module but hasn't been told it's installed. I'm so assuming this is why my front assist isn't working. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello colleagues, the same thing happens to me too in this same control unit number 13 ACC, I am unable to code another option, and I tried it with the hood open of course, and I also have SFD unlocked, there are other colleagues who have been able to code perfectly. did you unlock the module? A5 is not SFD protected, but still needs to be unlocked prior to making changes. Login should be 20103.

Also...
some modules (exammple is ABS and BCM) have a feature/option-specific dataset. In my case, after removing (not installing) the towbar, I have permanenent DTCs in the ABS module and the BCM even after the AHK module has been completely coded out (coding+adaptations). I don't know if that holds truth here, but just be aware of the possibility that perhaps your dataset doesn't allow something to be coded in.

That is an obvious coding error visible in your screenshot.

Hello, the security code entered is 20103, the only option I want to activate is travel assistance, a KLR capacitive steering wheel installed/assembled, other colleagues do not have it either and have been able to activate it but I do not.
