Hello!
I have the following problem with the steering angle sensor in my car (mk5 variant 2009):
I have done the calibration and I see 0° on channel 7 (steering wheel is centered).
But on channel 60, however, I see a difference of around 5.5-6°.
When I start the car and drive slowly, the electronics correct this and the steering wheel turns right. After this on the channel 60 I see 0°.
Could this be the fault of the steering electronics or the wrongly adjusted steering angle encoder?
Maybe the running gear setting is incorrectly adjusted? I hope not, the last time the brand's service department said it was fine!
They could not provide a solution to the above problem. The rims are perfect, the tires are new.
I have attached the two pictures, in case anyone else has encountered this problem.
