As nobody else has replied I will try my best to help.
I am also new to this app so before you make any changes please take a backup so you can revert if required / needed
I was looking at bluetooth on an old IBIZA yesterday and the coding I had required the Telefon control unit 77.
Firstly if you dont have this control unit on your list you can (using the red pen in bottom left hand of control unit screen) add it to your control units.
What i did then was run a scan and in my case it came back "could not communicate with control unit (because there was not one there)" however if you have added yours in I would hope it comes back and says there are no issues.
You would then (and this is a pure guess on my part) take the long coding option and enter the coding they have shown in the manual,
If anybody else can help please shout now.
Let us know how it goes

Let us know how it goes Thanks for you're reply! I have installed the module and got it more or less running. What I need to do, according to the supplier (linked in first post) is enter this string in coding "020000010100010000000000" replacing some other number. But I dont get the "coding" option when I enter the module on my phone via the OBDeleven app. Also, I have now managed to get my media streaming to the car! But, I cannot control the next/previous songs via the steering wheel nor the RCD510 stereo in the car. Which I am supposed to do. So I am hoping, if I get help on how to enter this code string it will solve that issue. Thanks!

Firstly do you just have the free version or are you using the pro one (if only free one then you cant code and need to upgrade)
Can you now see Telefon Control Unit 77 in your list of items, if not then as per my previous post you need to add it (let me know if you need pictures of this)
Having got the Unit do a scan to ensure no issues and at the same time do a backup (so that you can see what you have done and undo it afterwards if required)
Then (and this is the bit i am not up to speed on yet) you have to take the long coding option from the Telefon Control Unit Screen
The following video gives you some idea of what is required but I have not used this stuff yet so cant offer any real help. I think the the 0 = unticked and the 1 = ticked on the long coding screen but I do not know what the 02 at the start means.

Have added the telefon unit, 77 and ran it for scans. Sometimes I get an error code saying the GSM Antenna is disconnected/lost connection but it does not seem to affect the ability to make calls via the car. I am unsure about this long coding my self. As it seems to be in Hex while the number I need to code does not seem to be in hex. Will make a backup before I start experimenting with that!

No problem hope you get it sorted, might be worth a quick scan of google to see if somebody has shown you how to convert from VCDS to OBD11

So. I manage to work out the long coding! was not that hard to understand once I gave it a go. But.. My problem still exists. I will continue looking for a solution.
Atm im looking in to the steeringwheel module to see if there is anything there I need to change. As the buttons wont work to change songs etc, as they should do. Next will be looking on to the stereo head unit it self. But I need to enter a value when I try and access the long coding, basic settings etc.. 1-255 or something, odd!

You probably will need to code your infotainment system with the bluetooth functions. I'm not sure on the B6 platform, but I recall seeing a bunch of bluetooth options on my MK7 Golf in the adaptations.

Not much progress has been made since my last post. I have everything working as I wish except for the "previous - play/paus - next" buttons on the headunit greyed out and I cannot control the BT via the steering wheel. I found a post about this on the vcds forum, no one has replied on that post to. Here it is.. forums.ross-tech.com/showthread.php?4468-9w7-M-bluetooth-module-problem&highlight=rcd510I will update this thread if and when I have more info!

1K8035730D doesn't support RNS 510 info on display.
