Hi,
my problem with the driver side and passenger side window (rear windows working fine) is that when I want to roll them UP at random times and random window position, it will roll all the way down. When it rolls down at its own, it disables the "pinch protection" if I'm right and then I cannot Auto-Up/Down anymore and have to hold the window switch Up/Down to do so, but even in that case the window will stop at where it currently sits and then I have to release the switch and pull it again to make the window go back up.
I've tried to re-adjust the pinch protection with holding the switch up for 3+ seconds and then rolling it down and holding it for 3+ seconds, but as soon as I try to roll it up again, it does the same thing and rolls all the way down.
I have also tried to play with some Adaptations in the 42 Control Unit Basic Settings such as Reset Standardization, Window adaptation, Regulator Adaption, but in some cases even when doing the adaptations the window will roll down and cancel the adaption.
The only time it will go up when in Auto-Up mode is when I help it go up by pulling on the window with my fingers when it's rolling.
Also the switch in some rare occasions doesn't work the first time when pulling or pressing the switch (press down, nothing happens, press down again and window goes down normally)
So what do you guys think, what should I do?
Replace the window switch , replace the whole motor assembly, take down the door panel and lubricate/clean the window system
I already tried looking in the railing for debris and stuff that could get stuck and activate the pinch protection, but there was none,
Tried to lubricate the "rubber" with WD-40 silicone, sprayed the hell out of it, idk how much it helped,
Cleaned the windows, all the possible spots accessible without taking it out.
Thank you in advance, this two windows are driving me nuts
