By activation you mean coding ? As far as I know it would not be possible as this is a FeC/Swap function. You can buy it from VW Shop for about 180 Euro or if you have it already installed (with IQ Matrix) you just need to push the left stalk forward once for light assist and a white high beam logo with an "A" inside will appear.

Hi mates, Is there a way to adjust the sensitivity of "light assistant" ? Last night I drove like 600km in total darkness and on high ways it was acting strange when a truck was on the opposite way by flashing time to time an on other national roads if a car was in front but with "non-LED" taillights the system maintained High Beam until I got the hazard lights from the car in front of me. Happened through the whole journey! Very frustrating. Also on a 2 way road with only one lane for each, the system was maintaining High Beam on until like 100-150m which was clearly annoying for the other driver. I think they are annoying from 1km away also  So, is there any way to adjust or "educate" the system ? P.S: only "Mid" LEDs with Bad Weather so no Matrix/AFS here. Thanks |
