Good morning. First of all I hope not to contravene any of the forum rules, otherwise I apologize.
I have a mk7 FL 2019 (Italy). In the forum (although not for this specific car model) I saw a tweak on this topic (special thanks dv52 (Australia)), which I report here:

I. Go to the central electrics module @ address hex09

II. Select adaptation

III. Depending on the module build date:

A) If the car has an older style module (before about mid 2016-ish), search for the following channels:

Assistance light functions-Notbremsanzeige NBA
Dyn. turn signal modes-Notwarn_blinken_NBA_Phase_2
Dyn. turn signal modes-Crashblinken

B)If the car has a newer style module, search for the following channels:

Aussenlicht_Heck-Notbremsanzeige NBA
Außenlicht_Blinker-Notwarn_blinken_NBA_Phase_2
Außenlicht_Blinker-Crash flashing

IV. Change the setting for the channels above to active

V. If asked for a security code - enter 31347

When the emergency braking function operates, the Brake lights, turn signal and flasher LED in the cabin blink

I would kindly ask if you know which specific encodings need to be activated for the three different options (single encoding per option):

Turn Signals
Brake Light
Turn Signals and Brake Light

Also on this thread, surfing the web, I also noticed that some also activate other items (which I report below) and I was wondering if anyone knows the effect / meaning:

Submenu - Aussenlicht_Blinker
- Multi_kollisions_Blinken -> active

- Emergency_alert_blinken -> active
- Fahrerassistenz_Blinkenfunktionen -> Wechselblinken_Warnblinken_Bremsblinken (Default Warnblinke_zulaessig)

Hope these questions are still relevant:
NBA (Notbremsanzeige) has two phases. One is the blinking brake lights, which are engaged when there is a decleration over a certain value from a higher speed. When the car came to a full stop after this, we are engaging "Phase 2" which will turn on the hazard blinking turn signals.

All dynamic turn signal adaption are referring to dynamic turn signals. This allows said functions to use dynamic turn signals. When they are disabled, the hazard lights are static (the output pin in the BCM to enable them is not turned on then)

Crash flashing and Multi Collision Blinken should be more or less the same: When a crash is detected and the multi collision brake is engaged, the car starts flashing.

Emergency alert: So far I see no function for this
Fahrerassistenz_Blinkenfunktionen: This controls which turn signals function can be enabled by the assistance. Warnblinken is used by emergency assist, Wechselblinken by the active lane change assist (never released for MQB), while Bremsblinken - no idea. Rear collision alarm signal (RECAS) has its own channel, but is also not relevant to the Golf, since this not working with BSD specified rear radars
