I haven’t used my obd for a while with our vw t4, but the service message popped up recently and I wanted to clear it from the dash. To my surprise I couldn’t. It was working just fine, read everything, there were no communication issues, but now I get errors:
vehicle scan failed, please try again - at the end of the scan
or
control unit not responding, check ignition and try again
Needless to say, the ignition was on. Also tried with the engine running. Tried restarting my phone. All that I could think of.
Apps are updated.
I’m really disappointed. Anyone else having this issue? Any fix for this?
Light on the device is blue for those wondering.
The device connects, communicates, but at the end of the scan fails and I can’t use any of the features I bought this unit for.
Like I said. Not long ago it was working just fine with an e-golf and with out t4 caravelle also.
Hope someone can help me out.
