Hey everyone I have a 3 inch downpipe wirh a race cat and i keep getting an engine light for... Catalyst system, bank 1 efficiency below threshold. How do i change the efficiency level that triggers the engine light? Or stop this error from making the engine light go on. Thanks in advance

Tune or O2 spacer

In my opinion, a tune is the only solution. An O2 spacer gives erratic readings. I have a 3" cat-less downpipe on my MK5. My car is tuned on Eurodyne's Stage2 basemap. You can't adjust your O2 sensor readings on a stock setup using VCDS or OBDeleven. Since you have the downpipe, you might as well get a tune anyway. The Eurodyne tune only uses the 1st O2 sensor (the one closest to the turbocharger) for its readings.
