Description
Switch off sound warning when driver's door is open with engine running.
Why am I asking (reason for this app): I have searched many sources and found that many many users are really annoyed with this sound including other VW cars (not only mine, so this could be very helpful for many people).
VW cars are known to have this sound signal very loud, new models perhaps even louder.

Hello.
"disabling manually" means using the standard car user interface? This sound signal (when driver's door is open and engine is running) cant be disabled by no means in Seat Ateca using standard car interface.
I read tons of forum discussions, but no solution. Only with VCDS there is some procedure - they recommend to :switch the left-hand driving to right-hand driving" but i do not like that approach, does not seem to be systematic and correct.
Have you any idea in Obdeleven? Perhaps a new app with some inner coding (standard Adaptation / Long coding does not help in Obdeleven, I have experimented with these too)
Thanks a lot. To develop that app would be very helpful for many VAG models (Audi, Skoda and VW at least - users are complaining about this sound signal too).

It was all useless sorry (and have no notes).
Some inspiration can be googled via for example "open door beep chime vcds coding".
Beeps can be stopped by pressing Ok button on the wheel but still at least 2 beeps are necessary.
Really very loud. There are practical situations when this is a nuisance like going out to open gates, checking kids behind, opening door to check space around car when parking etc.
Audi, Skoda, VW report the same issue.
If you prepare anything (app, coding ..) I can test it and let you know.
