Hi,
I have Audi A3 8V MY16. I tried OBDELEVEN scandian drl app. (To have my taillights off when on DRL. The app didnt work with my car. (When im running on auto or ”0” position, the taillights are on with DRL.
Someone suggest some ideas? Im running with IOS software if its essential. Thanks!

mirq : I assume that you have a PRO account. There are a number of ways that the tails might be programmed to operate as DRLs - but fundamental method for enabling Scandinavian DRLs is to enable the adaptation channel in the central electrics module: - Außenlicht_Front-Tagfahrlicht-Dauerfahrlicht aktiviert zusaetzlich Standlicht
So - first try would be to check the value of the channel above and set it to not active if it's not already that value
If you don't need to change the value above - then it gets a bit more tricky! Again in the central electrics module (adaptation), look through the channels for the Leuchte-sets listed below that have the name Lichtfunktion for the Leuchte-command Tagfahrlicht and change the value to nicht aktiv. There will be 8 x Lichtfunktion channels in each Leuchte-set and there should be only one instance of the Leuchte-command in each Leuchte-set
- Leuchte23SL HLC10
- Leuchte24SL HRA65
- Leuchte20BR LA71
- Leuchte21BR RC8

”adaptation channel in the central electrics module: Außenlicht_Front-Tagfahrlicht-Dauerfahrlicht aktiviert zusaetzlich Standlicht” I cant find that named channel in central electronics. But what i have found: central electrics-adaptation-Daytime running light: I try to put picture here. Heres link to the picture: aijaa.com/XY8UWGAnd heres the other pic: aijaa.com/fuMQwh

mirq : OK - I assumed that your car had the newer type central electrics module. But it seems that this car has the older version module (the module with an active long-code string)!
It doesn't matter - the first channel on your first picture is the equivalent channel for Scandinavian DRLs on your module and its value is not active. So it seems that the Leuchte-sets on your tail-lights have been changed to enable the DRLs.
Try the second part of my suggestion

mirq : short answer to your question is YES, change Leuche23SL HLC10 -LICHTFUNKTION E23 to nicht aktiv.
Longer answer is - I'm surprised that you only found Tagfahrlicht in ONE Leuchte-set! You said in your first post that "the taillights are on with DRL". "Taillights" is plural - suggesting that more than ONE lamp on the taillights operates as DRL. Are you sure?

I dont know how to spell taillights in english..
In taillights on drl i mean the same lights on cars back that is on all the time.
Same car backlights is on all the time. (4 LED backlights, 2 on one side.) all the time when my engine is running. Should i put a picture of the taillights?

It can vary, but Leuche23SL HLC10 is normally the inside tail light on the left side. Make the change that I've already suggested and if the problem isn't solved, post-up a picture of the tail lights showing DRL

I succeeded in this!
It was in two places: Leuchte 23sl hlc10 - lichtfunktion e23 And leuchte 24sl hra65 - lichfunktion e24.
I changes those two to ”nicht aktiv” and now all is fine!
thanks for the really good advice don!
