I use IOS 15.6.1 The app only connects to the car after about 5 minutes. After that, I can select Motor, for example. However, after many minutes the message comes up again that the control unit does not react and that I should check the ignition. I am at a loss! I have reinstalled the app. But it still doesn't work. I am not a beginner and have been using ODB11 for almost a year!

I did not try and do any coding but just updated to 15.6.1 on my iphone 6S.
Went to my car (2014 Seat Leon) and it connected quickly and I was able to run full scan quickly several times.
Not sure if it makes any difference but I dont have 2-step authentication set and obviously my motor is not SFD Enabled.

Have now tried with an identical iphone but with the old ios version. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with it either. I now suspect that the dongle is defective. Or does anyone have any other ideas?

Today i does not accept the security codes anymore (Function not available). Yesterday still works. When i try to coding without accessing with the security code before, it stuck while writing. So i have to force close the obdeleven application and reconnect. And noticed while checking the car on the beginning, it does not read all units. You notice with the usual sound giving from the units. Scan does work normal.

Just tried mine again, was able to run scan, clear and scan again. Did coding in two control units (neither needed security codes), was able to change diag session and enter security code on control unit 19 with no issues so it does not feel like. chsheriff have you gone into Other, Devices and removed your device and tried then connecting a second time (make sure you know your pin code for when you reconnect. Support I am afraid are on Holiday till Tuesday but send them a message via the in app help function or via support@obdeleven.com And if the dongle was broken then I seem to recall that you should get an error message but its been a while so may be wrong.

I reinstall app on iPhone, pulled Fuses of 75 and 5F. Nothing worked until i opened the bonnet. That’s s weird because i have a 11/19 Scala MIB3 and never opened the bonnet for coding. And i coded a lot. So did VAG protect my car OTA? I am always online.

I have tried everything possible, it really doesn't work. Either VW did something during the last service or the app has a problem.

Are you able to try with an Android app (phone or tablet or even car media system if it allows you to add apps.
Back in the day there used to be issue with other devices with Bluetooth so make sure you dont connect to anything else (while testing)
I have also seen some security systems causing issue if you have any of that sort of stuff turn it off for now and see if that helps.
Otherwise its support I am afraid.
Obviously Ignition or Engine on and bonnet open if you are a newer car.

Then i am afraid i would contact support, tell them all you have done to save time
one last point the two year warranty is only valid if you buy from obd11 or authorized distributor and they may want some proof of purchase

The support is just bad. My device is a year old and I bought these from ODBeleven. They are not moving forward and now I am demanding the money back or a new device. After that I will take further steps.

The problem was finally solved by the support team. It just took too long, but from the moment a specialist took care of it, it went very quickly. It seems to have been a problem with the account settings.
