It is possible to activate dynamic light assist per default without using the lever ?

My tweak suggestion below will NOT activate High-Beam-Assist (HBA) as default - but the car should remember the status of HBA from the previous ignition.
So with my tweak, if you activate HBA - it should remain activated on subsequent ignition cycles until you deactivate the facility!!
If this is acceptable - try this: - Go to central electrics module
- Select Adaptation
- Search for "Fernlicht" and select Fernlicht_assistent
- Navigate to Fernlichtassistent Reset and select. Change value to not active
- If you are asked for a security code - choose 31347

Now I just need to play around with enabling area view to come on when slow with front sensor activation.

Tried that, didn't seem to have High Beam assist (Fernlicht_assistent)in that module, any other ideas?.

bamoulay : I really haven't tried my tweak suggestion on an actual Mk3 (CRU) vehicle. Before posting my reply, I confirmed that this model car is built on a MQB platform and I have suggested tweak instructions that apply to other MQB platform models (like Audi A3 8V and Golf mk7/mk7.5). It could be that the adaptation channel database on the central electrics module for a Mk3 (CRU) is configured differently (I don't know). If you post-up a back-up of the module - I can take a look at how it is configured. If you aren't aware of how to create a back-up file using OBD11, check-out YouTube videos Don
