Hi I bought OBD11 while my Hongkong trip and just used one day. On my first use I just try one app called comfirt seat entry. After that ones I try scan there were shown error and I were tried to remove them. But after when I started the car engine runs around 1 to 2 seconds and shut down. After that I tried to scan again so now there showing some immobiliser issue and it was showing rear left door touch sensor issue also, according to my knowledge there is no sensor on that door. After that I tried to remove battery terminal and short them for 15 seconds to reset (found this solution while Google it). Then starting issue was solved. After that I realised the obdeleven was detected my car as wrong. My car is Indian Passat 2011 make, but in my car it shows as 2012 make Passat wagen. Now I am having error for TPMS and now in my MFD have lane change option also. I think it must be the problem of obdeleven vehicle identification issue. And done wrong updates to my control units. I am new to this blog , if my informations are not complete please let me know
So I am requesting for help from admin and experts. Please help me to solve it.

Sometimes Volkswagen names it e.g. 2009 if it is built late in 2008. You can change your car (garage in german) by manually input the car codes.

Sorry for the late reply but with regards to year that is shown in OBD11 I have recently confirmed with VAG how it works.
I own a Seat Ibiza which was built in 2010 and registered in 2010 but when I look in OBD11 it shows it as a 2011 model. Admin confirmed that my engine code (which you can check and confirm online) was correctly marked as 2011. When I spoke with SEAT they confirmed that yes the car was built in 2010 but the configuration was a 2011 one so the date you see is not your Physical Build Year but the Model Year whcih can be the same or different.
Hope that makes sense. If the Engine code is incorrect you can change it but you cant change the year if you believe its wrong its a database change by ADMIN team.
Sorry cant help with the other issues.

Sorry for late replay Thanks you guys for the proper replay. I understand the year problem. Now the new update of obd11 had made the correct identification. But due to previous incorrect identification of my car as Passat wagen model with lane change assistant, my car now shows different options in MFD, such as drive mode etc. Also have some new issues like incorrectly coded control module, rearview camera code line issue parking sensor issue etc. I think this is because of the control modules gate way listing . Do any one can help me to correctly code the gateway . I mean the gateway list according to the modules that present unavailable in my car.

Askar not sure if I can help but I will try.
Can you please provide a list (which you can email yourself from the app) of the issues OBD11 is showing as it may make some sense to somebody.
Also please remember if you go to your history section you will be able to see all the changes you / the app have made, it will look something like this
--------------------------------------------------------------- Long coding Control unit: 17 Dash Board Values: Ignition key warning device: Old value: Warning New value: no warning Speed warning: Old value: On New value: Off Mileage: 31629 km Date: 2017-05-26 16:17
--------------------------------------------------------------- Adaptation Control unit: 17 Dash Board Name: Display depiction Values: Old value: Version 2 New value: Version 1 Mileage: 31629 km Date: 2017-05-26 16:12
---------------------------------------------------------------
So you should be able to see what has changed and hopefully put it back again. Final question have you done any backups, as these are also very very helpful when trying to restore items back again. If you have not please get into the habbit of doing so before you make changes to help you find and resolve problems latter on.

Don PS: Be careful changing the Gateway list - note the color of the dot next-to each module that has the hex address -on the 1st screen-shot . The color of this dot tells you the Gateway status of the module as follows: BLACK - module has been registered in Gateway list, but is not present when polled - see example, on the 1st module (Engine control module 1). In this case, the screenshot is from my test bench, so I've deliberately disconnected the module to show the effect YELLOW - module is present when polled, but has not been registered in Gateway list RED - module is correctly registered in Gateway list, but errors (Trouble Codes) have been recorded in the module GREEN - module is correctly registered in Gateway list with no errors

25er You need to contact support team via the in app help function obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/1877/contact-app-support-team tell them your vin number and provide full details of what your car is and they will update the database. Sorry my german is not good so used google to translate hope it makes sense.

All those instructions was helpful. I tired every way that I can including obd11 help, there was no use. After all the service centre done some works on it after that all become working. But still my MFD display showing alternative speed display as in M/PH reading. My car uses K/pH as standard. Don't know why. Also most of the times my cars easy entry seat adjustment also working wrong, as it is the seat going long back each time I open the dores also while control using the buttons seats moves a little bit and stop then I need to press button again and again. Also the movement have some difference than regular moment.do any one have same issue. Is there all because of the incorrect database from obd 11.. actually I tried a lot of time to explain to obd11 support help team. They are not responding for such specific issues.
