I would like to remove the lockouts while the car is moving, can this be on on the 22 GTI yet?

Control Unit 5F (multimedia) -> Adaptation -> Locked Menu Contents. Switch settings to “Non Blocked”

Yes. Change the ones that say blocked. You have a few options. Screenshot each setting before making the change. Creating a backup. Or doing the changes where the changes are logged in "history" for the control unit

After you do this you need to have the multimedia system restart, turn off the car, take the keys , walk away, wait a min, come back

So I have disabled all of the settings in the 5F to non blocked but my CarPlay Keyboard is still blocked. I thought this was an Apple issue however some are indicating that it is the car manufacture still.
So... Is there somewhere else for the CarPlay settings specifically or I have done everything that I can by disabling the 5F entries.

That is all apple. As far as I know, the only bypass with this, is with a jailbroken iPhone and using a tweak that allows the projection of the app as if it were viewed on your phone versus the carplay version of the app

 5F > Adaptations > NHTSA Properties > NHTSA limitation switches for CarPlay no softKeyboard I haven’t tried this, but on my car this adaptation is enabled by default. Sounds like it might possibly be the thing you’re looking for? edit: that is, if you’re in the US…if not, I dunno. edit 2: finally tried it in my car (hood popped) and it worked, I can have a passenger type an address into waze while the car’s moving now, woohoo. |

Does anyone know if it's possible to change custom driving mode settings while in motion? I believe I changed everything Locked Menu Contents to Not Blocked but I'm still locked out of changing the custom mode settings while moving.

You don't use the tachometer centered display and that angers me
