Hi All, I looking for factory coding and adaptations of modules operating heated steering wheel feature.
For Golf Sportsvan and Golf 2015+ there are 2 modules needed
1) Control unit: 16 Steering Column Electronics
5Q0953549B
or
5Q0953549D
2) Control unit: 08 Air Conditioning
5G1907044F
or
5G1907044M
If you have the steering wheel heater feature in your car - please share of coding and adaptations of modules above.

Hi I tried those coding: 1) Control unit: 16 Steering Column Electronics 5Q0953549D byte 1: 20 2) Control unit: 08 Air Conditioning 5G1907044M byte 11: 0C (Steering wheel heater levels: multi-level) or byte 11: 04 (Steering wheel heater levels: One-stage) Under tab "Live data" there are a diagnostic table. "Live data" during heating OFF:  "Live data" during heating ON(working fine):  "Live data" during heating ON(not working fine):  Probably temperature sensor doesn't work and that's the reason of an error message. The "Output test" shows: "exited due to reasons of safety"  I need help someone with heated steering wheel feature in the car - I not sure the wheel temperature sensor exist. If you can please test working of your factory heated wheel and post here the results. thanks in advance! Jacko |

Hi, under tab "Live data" there are " lhr", that stand of german " Lenkrad heizung" - steering wheel heating. It shows similar data like previously, but the NTC "Negative temperature coefficient" is used, so that is a thermistor - temperature sensor of steering wheel.  So NTC sensor shows me "-50C" again. Can anyone check the diagnostic of his "steering heating"? Control unit: 16 Steering Column Electronics -> Live data -> "lhr"or Control unit: 16 Steering Column Electronics -> Live data -> "steering wheel heater" |

Should I use "Measuring Blocks"? How find "Group" number like above? Greetings

Did you figured out issue with heated steering wheel?
I've got the same situation, added heated wheel in Golf 7 2014,
and got the same error, with temperature.

Is there someone who may describe what exactly needs to be done to enable "heating steering wheel" ? maybe some backup from the car where it is already operational (prefer Tiguan 2021 r-line  ) ? |
