Hello, one of the sensors for my brake pads broke on my last brake change.
How can I disable the annoying error on my instrument panel? I assume this can be done with a coding change?
Thank you!

This is a risk. I wouldn't drive with anything broken in my brake pads, but that's your decision. How much is a pad?

Sorry it's Google translator:
As soon as the small "head" of the brake wear indicator is touched or sanded by the brake disc, there is a short circuit and the light in the combi flashes wildly.
If the plug is not plugged in, the Stg is missing the resistance value of the wear indicator and for this reason it also throws this message if the wear indicator is missing.

Hi Hansdampf, the brake pads are not broken or worn. The plug for the sensor is broken. The plastic is brittle after many years and after recently replacing my brake pads, the connector broke. Now I get the warning randomly. The brake pads are less than one year old, they are completely safe.
I found a video that shows how to do it in VCDS... but I have not done any coding in OBDeleven yet. Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to do the coding? Thank you

Sorry, I don't know. In VCDS it is Schalttafeleinsatz 17 (English?) for coding it out. Perhaps you can connect the 2 lines at the brake pads and the warning light should be disabled.
