Hello, I've been trying to unlock the engine torque and power display also the g meter display. It fails everytime i try. Has anyone successfully unlocked these features?

Here the same. With the old software on my Audi it works. With the new software version it doesn't work anymore.

Engine Data Display - Yes - Confirm
My software version is 3691 and I now have the engine power display and g-meter but I also have the virtual cockpit plus so I'm not sure if it works on the standard virtual cockpit.

but not work or not show my car is 2022 audi a3 8y version 3620 ,

This works on my 2022 S3 MMI version 3695.
I now have power and G-meter display.
But the G-meter does not work, it always shows 0 in all directions. Do not all 8Y have an acceleration sensor installed? Or did I forget to activate something?

I had same issue, enable G-Meter on my 2018 S3 8V, didn't work at first, then re-read instructions which stated to turn on ignition and then lift up bonnet. Once I did that, it worked for a short while and it posted values, then nothing. Then stopped car, turned on ignition and open bonnet and it worked again for a short period. Not sure if others are observing same behaviour, but mine seems not to stay on.

Hi, my G-meter also does not work. I will try the method nappy65 used to get it working. But I think it is just missing the hardware to register the g-forces. Which is kind of a shame considering the new 1 series has it as standard I believe. nappy65, which instructions did you mean? Regarding the torque-meter, mine only goes up to +-50%. So maybe someone knows how to fix that issue. The other one (I think it is power in English) does go up to 100%. |

I have a S3 8Y 2022 (MMI version 3695) and the power meter works fine from 0-100%, but also for me the torque meter doesn't go up to 100%, only from 0-22%. Would be nice if both would work 0-100%. The G meter can be displayed, but it does not work. Any fix yet?

There was a failed "licence" install showing before I noticed this, so maybe Audi have sent an update out to us to limit things? (unlikely, but you never know). |

Wow, glad to know that I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.
I was 100% sure torque was showing correctly... hope to get this fixed soon.

Well, something had definitely changed - I had previously enabled the "acceleration measurement" setting in the dashboard menu - that wasn't enabled when I checked earlier, same as the G-meter.
Put those back to enabled, and will report back when I drive the car tomorrow.
(Fair few faults registered in some modules, so cleared those too).

Still no dice - Torque limited at 22% on the gauge, but the acceleration measurement is working again. G-Force meter shows up, but doesn't show any values (expected).
One thing I will try next (and after Christmas) is to remove the engine-data coding, then re-try coding it again to see if that makes any difference.....

I take it you mean display then on the VC ? I have this issue by the sounds of it you'll need VC+ that comes in vorsprung, the black edition is standard.

Well, I've tried turning off the engine data display (coding), waiting a day, turning it back on, but it's still not displaying correctly. Oh well..... :-)
