Hi guys I have no communication from my Abs module which in turn is leading to more faults.
If I can get the Abs module back online that should sort my problem.
It all started with retrofitting an Mib2 which has screwed my communication with some modules. Any help would be appreciated 👍

Hi guys I have no communication from my Abs module which in turn is leading to more faults. If I can get the Abs module back online that should sort my problem. It all started with retrofitting an Mib2 which has screwed my communication with some modules. Any help would be appreciated 👍 hmm....... the scan report that you just posted suggests that the "ABS" module (called "Brakes" module by OBD11) is online.
ALL of the faults are "inactive" - which means that they are past issues. The inactive fault codes were once active at some point in time but now they are fixed, or they fixed themselves. At each ignition switch-ON, the modules in your car go through a verification check to see if the fault codes have been fixed or not.
Have you tried bulk clearing these faults?

Yes I do try and clear the faults but there is usually 4 - 5 that won't clear. Mainly lost communication with Abs modules, cruise control and Acc All wheel control
I did a software update which was better till I did the 5F adaptation then it set it back again.
If I could reset the adaptation back to standard values that would help or if I could put an older software then reload the newest that I have.
Ive tried reloading the update but it won't let up update the same software update.

Just had a scan on it today at a diagnostic place and he thinks it's the awd system. Nothing in the control units and wouldn't communicate at all.
Checked the fuse and that was OK? I'll have to get the module checked.

huh- I don't understand?
What "awd system"? Your scan doesn't report any haldex equipment -the awd module on MQB platform cars normally live @ address hex22 and there is no hex22 module in your scan!!
How did you "update" the ABS module and what specific changes did you make to 5F module (look at your History records"?

He thought the Abs module was OK and got communication with it and the Awc was poss the cause as he couldn't get it to communicate.
He did eventually get it to communicate but then lost communication with it.
So he thinks that could be the problem as it would cause a host of other issues with Abs etc..
I did the adaptation with the 5F module and have been looking into resetting it to standard values but I've not seen anyway to do this.
Tbh I could burn the car out it annoys me so much, I'd just like to get my car back tbh mate 🙄

"I did the adaptation with the 5F module" isn't helpful unless I can understand what exactly changed.
If you used OBD11 to make changes to the adaptation channels in the hex5F module, then there will be a record of these changes in History.

Why did you change the long code on hex5F:
- 02731000FF00000051110101008808001F0507C60120010003 - old value
- 02730000FF00000021111201000800001F0207060100010001 - new value
The changes in the new value don't make sense - what were you trying to do?
Try reverting the long-code back to "old value"

I wish I hadn't done it it was because I had the B201A DTC but I should have just left it.
Ive tried reversing back to the standard before I adapted it.
But because it's still showing the standard value it won't let me return to standard if you get me.
