Hello everyone
Owner of a tiguan rline 2018 model diesel 240hp
I have recently noticed that the easy close button of my trunk doesn’t light up anymore and even pressing it don’t seem to activate the closing timer.
where can i activate the option on OBDeleven

Have you tried looking at 6D control unit if there are any errors? I guess you will have some.

Easy Close can be activated and deactivated in the Vehicle Settings menu in the infotainment system. Have you already checked it there?
Look in the owner's manual under easy close.

That is unfortunate. I'm afraid you've messed up something with the coding. One possibility would be to get the vehicle back in order at an authorized dealer by a so-called target/actual comparison of the coding. You're paying the price, unfortunately.
It is essential to create backups of the ECUs with OBDeleven beforehand in order to be able to track changes in the coding, especially after the use of one click apps. |

As crazy that it could sound the easy close coding is hidden in the long coding section of the module B7 start system interface for some reason. It works now. It took me two hours searching 😅

I should have known that the easy close coding can be found in B7.  Because it's been a while since I coded a special easy close function myself under adaptation in B7. When closing the tailgate via easy close, it is then possible to lock the complete car right away (lock all doors). In this case, of course, nobody should be left in the car!! If you're interested. Then under B7 Adapatation, set Byte9_VIP: Coding_easyclose_locking to activated (see screenshot). And remember, always make backups of the ECUs before any coding action.   |
