Hi all, have a MY21 with Homelink built into the MMI. Had a service loaner A3 and realized that on that vehicle (also with MMI Homelink) you could program the * steering wheel button to activate the garage door. My vehicle has heated steering wheel, so that button is not programmable (I believe) as it is used for that function.
Anyone aware of other ways to program/re-program a physical button to activate Homelink via OBDeleven or VCDS?
Heck, even a non-OBD way to add a shortcut to the home screen? Turning on the car and swiping the menu down just to open the garage is a silly function. There is a reason 99.9% of cars have a physical button for Homelink.
