With hacked MIB modules it's anyone's guess how the firmware changes to hide CP errors was done and what effect they have on other modules. Have you replicated the long-code string and adaptation channel database from the old MIB onto the new MIB?

If this was my car - I would put-back the old MIB (it's not difficult) - clear errors and see what faults return

Ive done stereo adaptation, I've not done any long coding as I'm still quite new to using the obdeleven.
I've also had the standard system in the car and still the faults persist, looks like I'll have to take it to a VW specialist as its driving me round the bend tbh.

I've been doing this for a long time and it's very, very difficult to believe that the vast array of errors in your scan report were the result of simply changing the MIB!! Clearly something else was changed - and until you share this information, I really can't/won't waste time guessing.

This forum is a two-way communication exercise; you tell us stuff and we use this information to help you. Thus far, all we know is that you changed a MIB and we have a scan that contains multiple "Databus missing message" errors across nearly ALL modules. It's very difficult from these 2 x pieces of information to see cause-and-effect!!!

For example- how does changing a MIB result in the hex03 module not being reported in your scan?

Well I bought the car some 4 months ago stage 3 Revo and over 500 bhp.
ALL I've changed is the stereo, the more I think about it the more I think it had the issues coded out as I can't understand why there are so many errors.
Im thinking once I changed the stereo these came to light. I can't think of anything else tbh, and it's driving me mad mainly Acc and Abs.

"stage 3 Revo" is new information. This is much more relevant to the array of errors in your scan!! Stage 3 is a lot like the software hack that was made to the new MIB in that it's a non-OEM modification to the factory firmware - in this case to the Engine module @ address hex01.

However, unlike the MIB hack - Stage 3 mods fundamentally changes the drivetrain CAN bus. Now, it's anyone's guess what actual changes are made (because it's non-OEM) - but the software modification likely does impact the entire CAN network.

So, based on your latest information - you have 2 x non-OEM factors at play affecting the car's programming; Stage 3 and hacked MIB. The error date stamps on your scan suggest that the loose stools in the brown stuff hit the fan blades mid afternoon on 2022-06-06 (this is the date/time that ALL the errors were first registered in fault memory).

I'm guessing that this was when you installed the new MIB. This suggests to me that prior to this date/time, the car was happy with the Stage 3 changes. However, something (I don't know what specifically - remember, this is all non-OEM stuff) in the new MIB software was incompatible with the firmware on the car. Again, this is non-OEM software from 2 x different non-OEM equipment suppliers

Of course - all this is speculation (repeat-these are two pieces of non-OEM software), but it's a better explanation as to why your scan has failed to report the Brake module (@ address hex03) and more importantly, why the diagnostic scan has failed to even report that it cannot access the Brake module. This is a very unusual situation - I've not previously seen these 2 x failures together in a scan)

As you will realize - a car in which the CAN gateway module is unaware of the Brake module - is seriously ill!

My suggestion - you could try re-installing the old MIB and then removing the negative battery lead for a period of time (try clearing the errors) in the hope that it will reset the Stage 3 software (long shot - but it's an easy try). If this doesn't work, I suspect that you need to talk to the manufacturer of the non-OEM Stage 3 software - because I very much doubt that anyone here will be able to solve this problem!!

Tbh it's a nightmare the chap had the mib2 back to check it and says there were no fault codes on it and he's Re coded it 🙈
The Revo software has been on the car for a good while and was fine till I added the mib2.
Just thinking if I put the standard Mib1 in the take the negative battery strap off it might possibly reset everything and I could clear the codes.
If all else fails I'll have to get it looked at.
Problem is there's that many faults it likely to be very expensive, unless I work my way through every module that's not communicating starting with the steering wheel sensor.
