I am also wondering how to do this. I know it is possible in VCDS but haven't been able to figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Disappointingly, the "Central Electrics 09" control unit is not available on the MKIV. This severely limits the fun you can have modding your cars software such as rolling down your windows with your key FOB, and a whole lot of other awesome things. This is not a fault of OBDeleven, but is just not an option on the MKIV. Not even VCDS (VAG-COM) can access that control unit. I wish I had known this before buying my OBDeleven and a $120 Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet. I will be returning both devices since I'm not able to do the main things I bought these devices to do. Here is my question to OBDeleven, and their response: "I can't access "Central Electrics 09" on my 2004 VW Jetta TDI. Is this control unit not available for my car? Most of the stuff I want to modify is in that catagory. I also don't see options for Long Coding in other control units." "Hello, your car not supports long coding function and don't have this control unit. How to make coding and adaptations for your car look here obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/1964/coding-adaptations"

You can't do it with obdeleven or even vcds for modules 1C0.... This can be done by altering central convenience module memory with "mkm" and cheap usb<-com->obd adapter
