Like many people here I was playing round with my lights to make improvements. Well I clicked on something and now I get this error on my 2016 Golf R with DAP/DCC. I believe this was the change that caused the issue (see Pic). Only other thing I changed was: Right hand drive/Left hand drive...which I have no clue as to which I need to change that to (I live in the USA) so is it the side you drive on or the side the traffic facing you is on? One other note, each time I go to correct this fault, my OBDEleven app freezes or closes, but it doesn't when I run longer things like scans...so it's not timing out...please help!

Here is a little more information, and yes, I have been sitting in my car for the last 3.5 hours trying to fix this, but I keep getting bumped out after about 30 sec when I am in (55 Headlight Regulation). Soooo frustrating!

Do you get a basic settings FTC when you run a scan as normally when you mess with lights that’s the first error you get and need to redo the basic settings (flat ground and run basic)
Just looked at your errors, do the basic settings, as that fault is there (I’m on a small screen and you only posted thumbnails)

Okay thank you, will try the basic settings first if it will let me. Will keep this post updated
I ran the 'Basic Settings' and it accepted it but error still pops up and again the most frustrating thing is constantly getting kicked out of the app...but only when I am in 55 (Headlight Regulation)...app freezes then kicks me out, no other part of the system does that, I can play around for a long time in Brakes, or Multimedia, but Headlight Regulation I have to know where to go and get there fast and try to fix my problem before it freezes again. I've probably been kicked out over 35 times over the 5 hours of trying to fix my problem with my lights.

Try clearing the app data (in the tablet settings NOT the app) and re logging in

I've deleted the app 3 times and re-downloaded it. I bought a new OBDEleven (Pro IOS/Android) thinking my iPhone will be much more stable and I don't have a lot of confidence in my Fire 7 tablet. It should arrive this evening for me to try to go at it again, hopefully this $150 upgrade will help fix my issues.

Quite literally received my new upgraded OBDeleven and 5 min after I opened up the box I was able to fix my issue. New one is sooooooo much faster than the old version. Thank you for the help VWjap...I think we were fighting a dying OBDeleven unit.

Yes, I know. Thank you for all the help. I received my new OBDeleven today and within 5 minutes had my issues fixed! It is SOOOOOOOOO much faster and easier to use. I guess we were really fighting with a temperamental old OBDeleven. Thank you VWjap for the help, greatly appreciate it.
Problems all solved.
