Vehicle: Audi A3 2022 App name: Auto Hold Parking Brake / Brake Assist / Hold Assist Description: Enable the Hold Assist functionality. This function keeps the brakes applied when you come to a complete stop without any interaction from the user. If you accelerate, the brakes relieve themselves automatically. When the hold functionality is active, a green (P) shows on the dashboard. Different to Hill Assist because it always works, even when not on a hill, and it will hold the parking brake for longer times. According to my manual, no Auto Hold button is required and the functionality is managed in the infotainment settings. There is no talk of the Auto Hold button in the manual section about it, and not in the general dashboard overview.
Control unit: Brakes and electronics Function: Retrofit Procedure: I found this on Google for VCDS 1) 03-ABS -> Security-16 -> Code "20103" -> Adaptation-10 -> AUTO HOLD functional status, always active
2) 03-ABS -> Security-16 -> Code "24990" -> Adaptation-10 -> AUTO HOLD functionality, active
3) 03-ABS -> Coding-07: Byte 08 = 03 Byte 19 = C0 Byte 23 = F7 Byte 25 = 41 (Auto transmission) or 43 (manual transmission)
