Hello. I have a Golf MK7 US version and the radio only shows odd station numbers (90.3 - 90.5 Mhz...) How can I code the radio to also tune in even FM stations (90.4 Mhz)? Thank you for your help.

Luishenano:Why do you want the center frequency for your FM tuning to be even? what country are you using the car? Don

Hello. My car was sold in Colombia (South America) and we have both frequencies (odd and even). Thank You.

Can anyone advise the correct code for Australia? here in the land down-under (where women glow and men chunder), we use the setting shown in my pictorial instructions above (EU_RdW) - its the same as Europe (87.5 - 108.0 MHz @ 100 Khz center frequency)

Hi, can this be done using the first gen device or do I have to purchase the next gen? I have an Android phone. Thanks.

yay6: I'm fairly certain that the same can be done on early model MIB units - in any even, why not have a look at the options on the long-code function for the module @ address hex5F - this will answer your question Don

Hi Don, I received my first gen device and tried to change the radio settings from Japan to New Zealand (Europe) by following your guide posted above. However, I do not the option "Information Control Unit". The options which appear are: I then selected "Radio", Adaptations, and it asks me to "Enter Channel" and "Enter Value" I then tried the "Long Coding" option, which took me to the "Radio Frequency" screen where the first 2 boxes were ticked. I unticked the second box and got the Eur region. However, the red Locked symbol at the bottom does not allow the change to be registered. oes this mean I have to upgrade to use the feature? Is there any other way to make the Radio changes without the upgrade?

You are not on a pro plan, so this is locked. Either way, I would suggest to give 5F a try which is the main multimedia unit. The "radio" control unit is in my opinion either some attached device or falsely identified

What model car is this - because I don't think that it's a vehicle from the MQB platform family (which is the focus of this part of the forum).
I'm totally guessing - maybe Audi A1, A4, A5, A6, A7 - or VW Touareg 7P ? In any event- these are MLB platform, or PL71 platform - but they are NOT MQB!!
Why would you believe that the suggestions that I made earlier for a Golf mk7 would apply?
Don

dorukfb: "problem with my audi"? hmm....... are you aware how many different types of "audi" have been built across the vast number of countries on this lonely blue planet and over the years since the Audi Type K - which was the first Audi production car built in 1921? More information needed to answer your question!! Don

To access adaptions and long coding yes you need pro, I don’t honk this would be a app If you can chance it (sometimes the Japanese market is a bit different) then it should work Well I’ll be… there’s a app for it (so pro not neede)

Thanks, I have another question so my navigation is from japan and the system will not let me update the maps. I saw that i need to update the firmware first , is this possible with the obd11? Thanks
