So, I messed up. I was tinkering around a while back and didnt save before doing so. I did so many changes, that I cant decipher what the settings originally were.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the default settings for headlights and drl. I have a mk7 pre-facelift, and no lighting package. Have the Helix Uu uU headlights. I have the Euro switch, and when its set to "Off" Lowbeams, DRL and tails on are on. Same as when set to "on". When I set to DRL/parking mode then DRL and tails are on but no low beams. When set to "auto" I get lighting error message.

If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it. A lot harder to find info on headlights than the tails.

hmm.......... of course anything is possible - but just from the short description from your observations, it sounds like you have activated "Scandinavian DRLs" - maybe?

Try this:

Select Central electrics (module @ address hex09)
Select Adaptation
Search for Daytime running lights
Select Tagfahrlicht-Dauerfahrlicht aktiviert zusartzlich Standlicht

Check setting is "not active"

I went out and tried this, and it was already set that way. I appreciate your help. Im probably going to have to go look at my history and try to decipher what it was originally set at. The problem is I changed like a bunch of them to see what they would do and then changed them back. So there are like 50 transactions from that day.
