Hi obdeleven team
Some of golf mk6 clusters doesn't support the "staging", "instrument celebration", "needle sweep" all the same. But from i have read in last days, if we read and change some values of the eeprom, it's possible. I don't have the knowledge to do something like that. My version of dashboard is 5K0920871A and i can't made this modification (not really important, but funny, just that).
is there any improvement, that obdeleven team can do in app needle sweep (V1 & v2), to make this possible, with one touch? Or is wasted time and we really need to change the values of eeprom?
Thanks for all obeleven support.

I have a Passat NMS and it's platform is similar to MK6. Have you tried this: Control Unit 17 (dashboard) -> adaptation -> indicator_celebration -> change value to Active

i have read in last days, if we read and change some values of the eeprom, it's possible. This is correct. All clusters support the feature, but not all of them are enabled by EEPROM from the factory. What would be done is instrument cluster be removed from the dashboard (backup ABS coding first, just in case). The EEPROM chip would be read either by desoldering or reading from a tool like AVDI (by Abrites) or a "copy" of the tool. The BIN file that is obtained can then be manually edited, or a tool like VDOeditor would be used to make the change, then the BIN is written or flashed back to the EEPROM (to the 24C32 or 24C64) depending on the method you have available to you. Think of the feature you see in OBDeleven as a "light switch" in your home. Imagine editing the EEPROM from factory like the main circuit breaker in your home. If the setting isn't enabled in the EEPROM, then setting the feature in OBDeleven will not have any effect. I have a paid copy of VDOeditor. If any of you send your BIN, I can edit it for you to flash back to your car.
