I have used the guide for ID.3 and Enyaq to enable Travel Assist and it works like a charm.

Hi , I am really interested in this. Did you code the ID 3 code to Q4 and got active lane guidance working ? What is your equipment ? Would really appreciate your reply.

Has anyone been successful using the new one click app that just came out? Yes, i “one clicked” it, works like a Charm!! Normally I would search and code it but in this case I didn’t find it, the app is then just fine to use. Lane assist is a necessity!!

Does it work fully now by centering the car in the middle of the lane or only when driving over the lane lines?

It was deleted, but long coding works Which steering wheel do you have, one with capacitive sensors? I tried to code the adaptive lane assist in Q4 today, with NO success. Set the following: Lange Codierung Steuergerät: A5 Frontsensorik für Fahrerassistenzsysteme Werte: Emergency_assist_variante: Alter Wert: Not_coded Neuer Wert: Ea_variante_2 Hc_variante: Alter Wert: Hc_variante_0 Neuer Wert: Hc_variante_2 HC_point_of_intervention: Alter Wert: late Neuer Wert: early_setting_over_menu Car did not have capacitive steering installed, anyhow i tried to code it with: --------------------------------------------------------------- Lange Codierung Steuergerät: A5 Frontsensorik für Fahrerassistenzsysteme Werte: Klr: Alter Wert: Not_coded Neuer Wert: Coded Kilometerstand: 2874 km Datum: 2023-08-24 18:04 ------------------ Then in 13 to set travel assist --------------------------------------------------------------- Lange Codierung Steuergerät: 13 Distanzregelung Werte: Travel_Assist: Alter Wert: deaktiviert Neuer Wert: aktiviert Kilometerstand: 2874 km Datum: 2023-08-24 18:14 But in the MIB3 menu under Car -> Adaptive Speed it did not change. In my understanding in the sub menu there needs to be a new toogle for "lane keeping". But this did not show. Does anybody share codings? I know most comes from ID3, because I took most information from there. many thanks

This one seems to be working for my Q4, but without the KLR (captive steering wheel) it's rather useless...
Adaptive Cruise Assist
1. Enter module ‘A5 Driver assistance’
2. Select ‘Long Coding’
3. Select ‘HC_point_of_intervention’
4. Set value to ‘early_setting_over_menu’
5. Select ‘Aldw’
6. Set value to ‘Coded’
7. Apply changes
8. Enter module ‘5F Multimedia’
9. Select ‘Adaption’
10. Select ‘Vehicle function list BAP’
11. Select ‘LDW HCA 0x19’
12. Set value to ‘Activeted’
13. Select ‘LDW_HCA_0x19_msg_bus’
14. Set value to ‘Databus extended’
15. Apply changes
16. Enter module ‘17 Dashboard’
17. Select ‘Long Coding’
18. Select ‘Lane assist’
19. Set value to ‘Yes’
20. Select ‘Lane retentions assist BAP distance’
21. Set value to ’Yes’
22. Apply changes
23. Disconnect ODB device
24. Lock and leave car for 20 min.
25. Clear all errors and go for a ride (toggle guidance on/off on the indicator end button)

I've coded it manually and works. My car has ACC and Lane Keep Assist.
Just need to code A5:
'HC_point_of_intervention' from 'late' to 'early_setting_over_menu' (Important, if only early, the active lane guidance option will be gray under ACC)
'Hc_variante' from 'Hc_variante_0' to 'Hc_variante_2'.
Just two are enough, no need to replace the capacitance steel wheel. The system would notify you to take control the wheel in 12s, just roll the wheel a little. But replace the capacitance wheel would be perfect. Just put you hands on the wheel. If after modify these two options and not working, try lock the car after 20mins then test. Normally you should see active lane guidance option under ACC. When you start the car, there's a tip in your cluster indicts the active lane guidance is activate.

dengpeng i have set these and i now get a toggle in Active Crusie Assist menu called Lane Assistance. ive turned that on and tried it out with cruise control set on the motorway but nothing happens, car just goes out of lane if i dont steer. If i turn on the Active Lane Assist as well i get the corrective steering just as before which stops it going over the line but just ping pongs to the other side. So seems these settings have added the toggle but thats about it.

For me the triangles are not green and the car floats in the lane. Does anyone have a tip?
Thx Juergen

Its the same for me, i get the toggle to turn on Lane Guidance now in the menu under the ACC and when i turn on the ACC when dirving it says ACC is active with lane guidance, but the two triangles that are on the icon either side of the car are white which means they are not active (although they were never even there before i made these changes). There must be another setting that is needed to actually enable the assist when activated. Currently im being teased by the icon but still have no functionality just the lane warning when going out of lane which is rubbish in my view.

So now the triangles became GREEN again ST5 Emergency_assist_variant ....New value Not_coded KLR .... New value Not_coded 5F Multimedia Vehicle function list BAP ......New value Databus extended Waited for the bus to stop and the car was parked overnight. Now the triangles on the expressway are immediately green again

if you look in 5F (Multimedia) under security access, what number does it have? I cannot change anything in this section. Might be due to my car having SFD2 security but wanted to check if you had a security code in there?

Thanks ive done the 2 factor auth a while ago but i seem to have to log into some modules to be able to make changes had a few like this. I have a MY24 Q4 and ive been told it has a new SFD protection (SFD 2) so i might not be able to make changes in some modules due to the new protection in the new cars because OBD11 have not got around to unlocking this. Just trying to see if its a login issue for that module or it actually is being blocked due to the new security. Im thinking its locking me out as im sure i tried that login before.....but ill try again. ;
EDIT: Confirmed this is SFD2 security blocking access to specific modules for models with the newest software. See here:
Seems like i need to sit and wait to see of OBD11 will get a working solution.

For SFD2 there will be never an option to diasble as it's Stage 2 of EU Laws for Cyber Security in cars. It's called UNECE 155 & 156

Question: is the 12 seconds until I have to touch the wheel changeable for example to 20 seconds ?

You have to move the wheel a little because system using torque to see you're controlling the car.
Update: I've changed the normal wheel to capacitive steering wheel, need to code Klr in A5. Everything perfect now.
