Tried the Audi throttle responsiveness app and my cruise control no longer functions. Getting the orange cruise logo in the dash. My car is a manual 2016 R and it is not equipped with adaptive cruise. Any insight, fellers?

hmm........... this tweak has ALWAYS been problematic at best and in IMO it doesn't work. Plus it's not surprising that odd things happen when you tell a mk7 Golf that it is actually an Audi!!
My advice - tell your mk7 that it is a mk7 and if you want an Audi, trade-in your car and get an Audi

So do you have a backup? If so look at engine long code, byte 00, what was it? Now look at the same byte in your car, has it changed?

vwjap : agree - for factory VW, Byte00=01 (i.e. 0000 0001). If the App is still binding and car thinks it's an Audi, Byte00=02 (i.e. 0000 0010)
