Hello there. A3 8y does not beep when locking and unlocking the door. No coding or implementation. what can I do.has anyone tried?

There is an app (lock/unlock acoustic confirmation) but it didn't work for me.

There is an app available but Audi sound is horrible!
Literally horrible! 
You would not prefer to activate. |

I successfully activated the lock/unlock chirp on my A3 with the following code:
09 Central Electrics
Quittungston_hmi_einstellbar
Old Value - not_active
New Value - active
Quittierungston_bei_entriegeln
Old Value - not_active
New Value - active
Quittungs_ton_bei_verriegeln
Old Value - not_active
New Value - active

i did the adaptations as per the post above, and they confirmed writing to the control unit, can see the new beep on lock in the central locking menu, but it doesn’t make any sounds at all. Any other steps Ibhave to do to make it work ?

After checking the online manual for my VIN via the myaudi app link, there is a footnote in the alarm system description bottom of page 42 that states Acoustic notification - not available on all export models.
